DJ J. Bravo embodies an unparalleled grit and persistence rarely experienced. Starting out as a hang around in the local Punk scene in St. Louis a humble gesture to help out some friends blossomed into opportunities to manage artists. With quick success and with eyes open to the possibilities he started to expand and work closely with artists in the hip hop scene.

 

Managing artists forced DJ J. Bravo to become familiar with a myriad of aspects of the music industry both behind the scenes and on stage. From booking shows, to spinning, he quickly realized becoming a jack of all trades extremely benefited his artists and ultimately himself. This unintentional expansion at first was thought of as temporary, but soon became a trigger to shift into the next phases of his artistry.

 

What started out as simply being DJ for the artists he was managing gradually morphed into a profitable independent enterprise. DJ J. Bravo’s experience with a slew of music allows an execution of unique mixes that are constantly progressing. Studying local and national greats like prophets and utilizing any skill, technique or sound that can enhance his skills.

 

Along with his success in management and work as a DJ he realized that his development of a heightened ear for sound opened another lane of producing his own music. Utilizing his acquired expertise to strip down the best components of rock, hip hop, and 90’s dance in order to create his bouncy synth driven easy to digest yet outside the box ventures. With influences from all over the map including Nine Inch Nails, Kanye, Lincoln Park, and Kid Cudi, this constantly evolving artist entrepreneur is impossible to predict exempting his continued success.
