davelybob

Co-founder Davelybob (formerly aka Dingus) got his start in the music business in 2001 as manager and booking agent for heavy punk band Losers Make Good, about a decade later joining the spin-off band Love, Kingsford as synthesist and backing vocalist. It was in that band he got acquainted with Chad and together started Paradoxal Pterodactyl. Upon leaving Love, Kingsford he focused on his experimental/noise project Jaded Evil Lambs, and continued booking eclectic and diverse shows (under the Paradoxal Pterodactyl banner). In 2014 he served as mixtape editor for the Undercurrent concert series, jointly produced by Wrong Division, Paradoxal Pterodactyl, and Schlafly Beer. In 2015 he started his signature Way Out Weirdo Wednesday concert series which ran for 44 installments featuring local, national, and international acts, ending with the closure of the Way Out Club in 2021, at which time Davelybob decided to retire from booking shows after 20 years (which he is more or less sticking to). Davelybob also dabbles in visual art and producing and remixing for other musicians, and along the way has taken part in numerous other projects including Fry 13, Catholic Guilt, Noisecamp, Zero Control, Monster Sized Evil Lambs, The Dub Nunnery, Animals Rule Oslo, Mister Robbers, and various one-off collaborations.
